Via usb 3.0 driver windows 10 broken9/20/2023 To get them back, I have to boot in a special mode and verify that unsigned drivers are OK. Windows kicks them out with the ‘security updates’ pretty often. It gets pretty annoying at times, because a few of my drivers are ‘unsigned’ (Roland Fantom X USB/MIDI drivers for instance). It seems to be most prevalent with security updates. Sometimes just running eLisencer in admin mode fixes it, others I just run the latest installer. USB hard drive not showing : Some users complain that when they connect their drives to their computer, it doesnt display on the screen. If the Windows updates don’t break the driver, they at least mess up the permissions the installer had asked for, and worked fine with until another update came along. USB may not be detected by Windows 10/11: Another very common problem is when your Windows 10/11 software cant seem to detect your USB flash when plugged in. The dongle stuff is one of the things I keep ready (eLisencer/iLok/Waves/etc). ![]() M-Audio Delta 1010…drivers themselves don’t break, but the control panel for it has to be reinstalled almost EVERY TIME a Windows Security update comes through. ![]() It’s like clockwork, so I just keep the driver installers on the desktop. ![]() I have a handful of drivers I have to reinstall almost every time Windows does an update.
